An all levels class that incorporates principles of alignment, breath, and body awareness; helping to increase strength, flexibility, as well as stress reduction. The slower flow promotes mindfulness of each movement and being fully present in the now.
A dynamic practice that marries the breath with movement, designed to cultivate heat in the body. Classes are more vigorous than the gentle classes, helping to increase endurance and strength. Modifications are offered in order for students of all levels to enjoy!
Yin Yoga works the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and has been shown to help with flexibility and mobility, as well as calm and balance the body and mind. This slow and meditative practice usually consists of a series of long held (3-5 minutes) passive floor poses, mainly working the lower part of the body such as the hips, pelvis, and low back.
